On November 23, the IHK Flensburg ceremoniously handed over the EMAS certificate. CPI systematically records and evaluates factors such as material use, waste generation, water, wastewater and energy consumption. In this way, consumption and costs can be reduced efficiently and contribute to making global supply chains more sustainable. CPI in Leck has been applying the EMAS system since 1998 and our expectation to contribute to climate protection, resource efficiency, transparency and sustainability has been confirmed over the years. The IHK congratulated us on the renewal of our EMAS registration.

Furthermore, the special press-resistant embossing par excellence was manufactured and voilá we have the latest special edition of the bestselling author Sebastian Fitzek. Well attended trade fair, many trade visitors.
Hall 3 and Hall 4 again well occupied with booths on all levels. 180,000 people visited the 4,000 exhibitors at the show (PP 73k). With almost 93,000 trade visitors (PP 36k), more than half were trade visitors.
Presentation with Time Freight & CPI
In two presentation blocks, Kay Wissendorf (Zeitfracht) and Robert Höllein (CPI) were able to outline the solution approaches for scientific and public publishers. With more than 20 participants and subsequent discussions, the participants were able to take away impulses for the further course of the trade fair and the cooperation with CPI & Zeitfracht.

In front of the international press in Stockholm, the Permanent Secretary of the Swedish Academy, Mats Malm, announced the best-kept secret: French writer Annie Ernaux will receive the 2022 Nobel Prize in Literature.
Congratulations to Kim de l'Horizon and DuMont Verlag on winning the German Book Prize.
