CPI has perfected the book finishing process of edge trim painting and brought it to production maturity. The innovative book decoration is now an integral part of CPI's finishing portfolio.
< Leck, August 2023 > Integrated or hidden-edge-cut painting refers to book-edge decoration that is applied to the edges of book pages and is invisible when the pages are flipped through as well as when the book is closed. The motif only shows up when the leaves of the book are pressed together and shifted slightly against each other. Then an image appears on the edge-cut.PI.

DIN ISO 9001 and EMAS review audits successfully completed.
The annual review audit of the quality and environmental management was due again. The topics quality according to DIN ISO 9001 and environment according to EMAS were audited at CPI Clausen & Bosse in Leck and the environmental topics according to EMAS at CPI Ebner & Spiegel Ulm.
KPMG cert was convinced that we meet the necessary requirements to continue to be DIN ISO 9001 certified in Leck and EMAS certified at both locations.

We were again very innovative and created a new production for you - HECTOR, the integrated color cut, which runs along in the printing process and can optionally also be combined with a conventional color cut. Just ask for sample books, take it in your hand, fan the foredge diagonally and be amazed. You can see this very well in the videos.
